Abstract: |
Based on the exponential distribution hypothesis for the soil-water characteristic curve of soils proposed by Gardner, a mathematical model is developed. By changing the boundary conditions, the unsaturated characteristics of sand and loam soils with finite and infinite depth of water-bearing bed under different unstable rainfall intensities are numerically modeled respectively, and the corresponding variations of unsaturated characteristics are obtained. |
