Abstract: |
The development of the pore pressure and deformation of a canal slope excavated in unsaturated expansive soil in Zaoyang City during artificial rainfalls is simulated by use of the simplified consolidation theory of unsaturated soil. The computed results are qualitatively agreeable to the observed data. |
