| Some examples of the settings of crack directors in roller compacted concrete (RCC) arch dams and RCC gravity dams at home and abroad, and differences of the crack directors setting between arch dams and gravity dams are summarized. Model tests for crack directors in RCC arch dams and the state of the art of the theoretical study of equivalent strength and numerical calculation in China are presented. |
