| Experimental investigation of oblique random wave load on vertical breakwaters |

| Abstract: |
| Based on the test of the action of oblique random waves on vertical breakwaters, the variation of wave force acting on the unit length of vertical breakwaters with an incident angle was studied. The longitudinal distribution of wave force as well as the influence of the length of unit breakwater on the reduction of longitudinal wave force is discussed. The relationship between the longitudinal distribution factor and reduction factor of wave force and the relative length of breakwaters is presented. |
