| Abstract: |
| The bearing capacity mechanism and affecting factors of screw anchors are described. Laboratory experiments show that the anti lifting force and horizontal bearing capacity of screw anchors are higher than those of steel pipes with the same diameter. Modified screw anchors are suitable to the closure work. |
