| Abstract: |
| Based on 3-D finite element elasto-plastic calculations and some stability analytical methods, the stress, deformation and sliding stability of the pumped storage hydroplant dam with two types, namely concrete face rockfill dam and composite dam, are analyzed and compared . The results show that the composite dam is better. |
