| Abstract: |
| The importance and wide use of the California Bearing Ratio(CBR)test are explained in this paper. On the basis of three soil samples test the methods of indoor test and comparison of the test results are introduced. Besides,using CBR value to design the thickness of soft road surface and test methods to define CBR value are described. The hyperbola rolationship between bearing strength and quantity of penetration is also explained. |
